Quick Start
Create a project, publish your first protected build, and test its loader.
Before you start
Sign in to Luaward and open the Dashboard. The onboarding flow creates a project and its first script together. You will need source code for a Luau script and room in your workspace plan.
1. Create your project
Open Dashboard → Onboarding. Choose the template that fits your access model, enter a project name and script name, paste the initial source, and choose a protection preset.
The Freemium template starts with keyless access. Other templates start with a keyed script and create an owner test key so you can try the loader.
2. Wait for the first build
Luaward stores the source and queues a versioned build. Check the build status in the script page. Copy the loader after the build reaches Ready.
3. Run the loader
For a keyed script, put the license key before the loader call:
script_key = "YOUR_LICENSE_KEY"
loadstring(game:HttpGet("https://luaward.com/l/YOUR_SCRIPT_ID.lua"))()For a keyless script, use only the loader call:
loadstring(game:HttpGet("https://luaward.com/l/YOUR_SCRIPT_ID.lua"))()The browser view explains how to copy the loader. An executor receives the Lua loader response.
4. Publish and maintain it
Share the loader with the intended users. Add keys or a key system if the project requires them. When you upload new source, Luaward creates another build version; previous ready builds remain available for rollback.
If the script does not start
- Build queued/building: wait for the compiler to finish.
- Script disabled or plan paused: check the script status in the Dashboard.
- Key rejected or locked: confirm the key and ask the workspace owner to review its device binding.
- Loader opened in a browser: copy the displayed command into a supported executor.
